Beyond the Pilot

Last updated: 28 January 2025

The Rotary South Pacific Regionalisation Pilot is due to end on 30 June 2026.

Once the Pilot has ended, an extensive review will be conducted to assess the extent to which the Pilot has achieved its key objectives. The results of this review will be shared with members. Clubs throughout the South Pacific will then vote to determine whether our region will adopt the Pilot’s operating model permanently, either in full or in part.

Work has begun to imagine how Rotary could potentially operate in the South Pacific after the Pilot. In late 2023 the Future State report was published, which provides a preliminary overview of one possible vision of what our future could look like. A summary of the Future State report was presented to members in a webinar in November 2023 – watch the recording of the webinar below.

Work will soon begin to further develop a vision for Rotary’s future in our region. If you have any feedback or suggestions, or are interested in joining a working group focused on developing the future state of Rotary in the South Pacific, please email RotaryRegionalPilot@gmail.com.

Further details will be provided to members as they become available. Stay tuned for updates!
